speaker

i am still thinking of buying an zen x-fi but today at school i could test sombody's.and i noticed that the buil in speaker i realy lame like tree times weaker then the zen mozaik. now is my question:
if you buy one now wil the speaker be better than if would buy it
3years ago. or has it become stronger by firmwire update?

Firmware updates alone wouldn't make the speaker better, I don't think.
