X-fi2 randomly shuts down？

I like this player. It sounds better than the T10, and i like its touch features.
But what's been bothering me is when it automatically shuts down without any warning whatsoever. It only occurs when im scrolling down in my album list/ artist list.

Im quite sure its not the music encoding problem. I have been able to access almost every album through the genre list.

EDIT: It is normally followed by a scan of disk after switching it back on.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Sounds like some kind of firmware bug, can you recreate it? If so then post it in the firmware bugs/wishes thread, I've been told that Creative is watching it and hopefully it'll then come to their attention.

Don't mind asking, do I need to write out every step i took to get that error? Because I would think it would be worth the effort if Creative actually looks at the bug thread

As someone who does a bit of developing myself I know that all the information someone can provide about a bug is helpful, so yes. Writing out every step to recreate it would be very useful.
