How do I add an icon to an app please and what size. I have searched but could not find.

Put an image of about 50x50 pixels named "icon.png" into the main folder of your app, and the player will use it as the icon
![]() Smaller than 50x50 will also work, I guess the player just upscales it. |

I'm not sure it upscales it, I use icons smaller than 50x50 and I haven't noticed any upscaling. I think it uses the image in its original size, which is why you can add too big icons which cover others and/or text. But I make mine 45x45-50x50.

Habhome, you're right. It doesn't scale it in any way. It indeed just shows it as it is.
What I think is weird is that the Programmer's Guide says that 50 x 70 is the maximum, but at that resolution the icon also covers up other icons/text (depending on the view mode). |
