Just a warning. 1.10 doesn't use english letters in the typist app, search box for music, or anywhere else the keyboard pops up. I recommend waiting for 2.10.

Olley, actually it does work. At the bottom of the keyboard there is the option to use english letters. There is also the option - in dictionary settings - to use a Chambers Eng-Eng dictionary. Now if only I could figure out how to get it.

Is it possible to skip firmware version to the latest version?? For example My J3 is currently version 1.03, can I just dl the firmware for 1.10 and update it straight away to it?

Does anyone know how to restore the original firmware that came with the J3. When I bought the player recently I updated its firmware to the 1.10 version not realising that in doing so I would not be able to connect the device as an MTP device. It is only an issue because I am having a huge problem getting playlists to work on the device - and from reading other posts I understand that when it is in MTP mode, playlists are easier.

So does anyone know how to restore the original firmware?

What's the difference between 2.03 and 1.03? I didn't realise there would be different versions floating around out of the box.
