when i try to put rockbox on my v2 fuze i always get an error saying "could not open bootloader-fuzev2.bin for reading" when i type "mkamsboot.exe fuzpA.bin bootloader-fuzev2.bin patched.bin" in the cmd prompt. all the files are in the folder rbinstall. has anyone had this problem and how do i fix this error.

That probably means the file is locked by the operating system for some reason (e.g. it didn't complete downloading).
That said, you should probably use rbutil. Its easier and handles downloading the bootloader for you. |

As an alternative solution to locked files in general, look into Unlocker for Win PCs. This tiny free utility is invaluable and I use it almost daily to whip silly XP file processes into shape.
