animated startscreen...???

i don´t know if this is the right section for this...

is it possible to set a animated .gif image as custom bootscreen....??or will the p3 crashes....

if yes i would make one because i love animated screens...but i don´t want to crash my p3...

so...any information about this out there...????

i tried it with a small image...works well...but if the p3 is shut down completly this nervous animated p3 startscreen is there and my one is shown so late.....

but no one can do anything against this....

Wait, your saying it is actually animated? Because on my P3 It doesn't even animate in standard picture viewing mode on it...

yeah...try gif-pictures...with not too many frames in the ol gif format...the p3 can play it....and you can set it as startscreen...but the standard one is still animated...so it is quite nervouse when the player is completely shut down....
