No backlight on volume change (Rockbox patch)

This patch has just been updated to work with the clip+:

It adds an option not to wake up the screen when volume change or play/pause. If these are buttons you press often without looking at the screen, you could save some battery life using this patch.

dfkt, have you implemented it in the builds you post regularly in the RB thread? Because I'm running your latest and don't have this volume backlight feature.

Yes, it's in all my builds. The function is activated in Settings > General Settings > Display > LCD Settings > Backlight on Volume Change.

That's a great patch--should get committed, at least as to the volume side of the equation.
