Exclamation TDS' sold his J3 and is ordering an X7 thread!
I have my 32gb J3 on the way, sold my touch to get it - I couldn't be happier. Thanks for the tests and some brief opinions dfkt.

I'm ok with one of my players being only 8GB, but I would not be content with having only an 8GB player. 32GB would be just about right for me, though.

32GB? pffft....For true, no-complaint happiness, I need/want 64GB+ fully integrated uSDHC support...

All in the form factor of the Sony A/E
With battery life from Cowon
And Rockboxable

The J3 form factor is way better than the A845, in my opinion. The J3's side buttons are much easier to reach (and distinguish) on the go than the A845's Mickey Mouse controls. Also, the J3's screen pwns the A845's screen really badly. Of course the J3 is made of plastic, while the A845 is made of metal, so that point goes to Sony.

Good info - actually, my comment was too vague.

I do like the Sony A/E form factor but really from a slimness/width/height perspective. And yeah, I ain't no great fan of the Japanese Mickey Mouse fetish myself. So odd they basically worship a rodent!

J3 controls/screen I am sure kick Sony's ass. :-D

I got my J3, loading tunes on the internal memory ATM, then I'll reboot and load up the microSD card,..............................oh damn it's everything the S9 wasn't. It's smexyasallhell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
