I can't drag/drop more than 2 photos onto player

I know I'm a newbie, and I apologize in advance if this has already been posted, but I tried to search for it everywhere and came up with nothing.

I have a ns-dv4g player and I am a mac user. I have no problem with the compatibility. My problem is when I try to drag and drop jpegs onto the player, it will accept 2 photos, then on the third photo, it will show as if it successfully dropped onto the player only for a second, then it will disappear. I have plenty of free disk space, what could it be?
