And btw, that Mr. Murph shouldn't have posted the french prizes. France is totally expensive, most of the time it's at least 20% more expensive than in germany, for example.
And you see the prize discrepancy: $319 on amazon.com right now vs. $455 converted from french prizes.

Sorry to say, but if people want to ALWAYS be connected to the cloud, they need to get a cellphone. Every dap that has a larger sized screen doesn't need wifi, 3G, etc, etc. Some people can't understand that every bloody device isn't an iPod touch - better yet, an iPhone (since the touch is technically crippled,...no???).

I noticed that Advanced MP3 Players have got their preorders up - £229 for the 120GB and £249 for the 160GB, with a shipping date of November 18, for those of us in the UK.

Have Cowon announced any other capacities? To be honest, I wouldn't mind a 60GB or 80GB version if that meant a sub-£200 price tag.

Yeah there's an 80GB, but I haven't seen it in too many sites.

PS: Correction,....either get an iPad OR my device of choice - the Samsung Galaxy Tab!!! Now that is one sexy beouch!!! If it weren't for the X7 I might go w/this instead. The 7" screen is a winner IMO.

the reason why they think every device needs to be an ipod touch is, imho, because they are simply uneducated and conditioned on one product line. they don't know any better. they're saying "i don't need a mp3 player, no i need an ipod. i don't want a mid i want an ipod touch. huh this device has no "wifi's", but it has the gb's, still i'd rather get an ipod touch."

Exactly...bad price example and I paid nothing close to that for mine shipped. Now it just needs to hurry up and get here

i have to agree with the comments in that article about screen resolution - you wouldn't want to watch a movie on this player. 480 x 272 is poor on a 3" device - stretched out to 4.3" and it'd be positively painful for movies, album art etc.

as someone said, the screen is the exact same size and res as Creative Vision W from early 2006. Where has the x7 been sitting around for 4 and-a-half, nearly 5 years?

even the Creative Zen Vision from 2005 had a 640 x 480 screen.

Damn!!! I guess I'll just fix my 5.5G's hp jack then, since I'll just watch vids on my 3.7" screeneed Droid 2. It's kinda funny tho, spoiled by RB and the higher res of my phone!!!

indeed, phones seem to have much better screens than PMPs, although they don't play media as easily, not being primarily designed for that.

off-topic, I'm still looking for a decent android mp3 player, there seems to be a bewildering choice.
