Hello all,
I've searched through this and the other ABI forums but to no avail.. I have a Zen M 60GB and have been happily ripping my CDs to the device and to my PC (external HDD) with never a problem for years. Until now... I recently changed my external HDD to 2TB and now, using Creative Media Explorer, I get an error: "Insufficient disk space, please make more space available on your drive". Thing is... there is 1.6TB of free space on the drive and ~25GB free on my Zen. I get this message whether I try to copy to the drive and the Zen together or individually. However, if I rip to Drive C: instead, everything works as before. I've tried dragging and dropping which works, except Track 1 becomes Track 0, etc. - a real pain to change on an album with 30 or more tracks. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. |

I could really do with some help here. Surely someone must have come across this problem??
One thing I've tried: I reconnected the old external drive which is identical in every way except size (1.5TB vs 2TB new one) and it works! I changed back again to the new drive which is 500GB bigger and the "Insufficient disk space" message comes up again! Truly weird! I tried uninstalling Creative Media Explorer and re-installing - no change. Please - any inspired ideas?? |
