Hey people! I'm new to the forum
![]() I need some help with my (new ) Sony NWZ-S545. I've got multiple albums that have various discs which are tagged just fine (iTunes, MM & Songbird recognise they're different discs but same album), but whenever I transfer them to my Walkman, playback order goes as follows:1º - First song in disc one 2º - First song in disc two 3º - First song in disc three 4º - Second song in disc one 5º - Second song in disc two ... and so on. I looked for a solution in the user's manual and in forums but to no success. Anyone got the same issue? Stravinsky's really a mess right now for me... ![]() I'd really appreciate any help here. Thanks a lot people! |

Just re-number the tracks as 101, 102 for CD1, 201, 202 for CD2 etc.,

Yes, esantosh's suggestion is a good one and should work.
Another method to consider: use something like mp3tag http://www.mp3tag.de/en/ to set your tags and file names as such: Artist: Joe Satriani Album: Live In San Francisco [Disc1] Track: Crystal Planet Track Num: 3 etc, for whatever tags you wish to use Then with mp3tag rename the files based on the tags as above so the result is: Joe Satriani - Live In San Francisco [Disc1] - 03 - Crystal Planet.mp3 This is how I manage all my music, including multiple disc albums - I have never ever had a problem with any DAP playing music out of order going back 10+ years. Plus, by including the disc number in the filename, I am able to at a glance see what disc I am listening to. hth, -les

Ok guys! I suppose that's what I'll have to do.
The funniest thing is I did have the tracks numbered that way waaay back, but oh well, I guess Mp3tag will help me out with it. BTW, is this something that happens with all Sony Walkmans? Weird they don't take into consideration disc number. I didn't have this issue with an iPod nano. Thanks so much people!!
