Crystal/clear, same diff. I kinda want 1..In all the photos i see of them the top cover appears to be like 1/4" above the actual unit..Wouldn't this make it more difficult to use the wheel, ect?
You guys got any good pics? Last edited by sbcaprice305; 11-20-2010 at 03:25 PM. |

If the same, as I got, the crystal case does add a slight bit of thickness to the stock Fuze, but access to the wheel is completely unimpeded. A very nice case, not so great on the shock department [as perhaps the silicon style cases] but it does the job...
Only thing: look on Amazon...there is a user vid there explaining how best to remove the crystal case - once installed, it is a slight challenge to remove. Still, my Fuze has been wearing the crystal case since day 1 and it looks brand new almost 8 months later.... cheers, -les

Although I have a silicone case for my Sansa Fuze (and I've covered the exposed screen with a PDA screen protector sheet), I've ordered a clear crystal case for my Sansa Fuze. Based on my experience with PDAs and my Sony DAP, I consider a good case essential for protecting your player, especially the screen. For me, a crystal case offers the best protection. If properly designed, in normal use you should never have to remove the case.

The only caveat I would offer with the crystal case is I have to be careful plugging in the USB cable....the opening in the case for it is just a hair off where it should be, and actually plugging in the cable spreads the case apart a hair, and you have to close it back up afterwards...and I worry it is putting pressure on the internals that the cable connects with.
If I used the Fuze more often, enough so that I had to plug it in more often, I would put the silicone case from my old Fuze on it....no question. I have backup screen shields around here somewhere that I could put on, if necessary.
