Is the x1050 superior/equal to the a845?

well the internet in its strange ways have since reversed the price it was offering onto me of the samsung p3 and sony 1050. Wheras the samsung p3 was availabe to me for €165, and the 1050 for €200 the roles have since been reversed and now the oppisote has come to fruition.
Now may i ask, is the title true? In respect to sound quality etc. since there is actually very little difference in price between the two.

Some people seem to say the x is better, I personally have never heard the new A series but It seems be similar. It has the same S-master amp at least
