I whipped of a review of the HD7's hardware. In short, awesome build quality, but falls short on some components like the camera and speakerphone. Giant screen that might be too big.

As far as the size goes, I now have a Droid X which also has a 4.3 inch screen. And at first it was really difficult for my hands but I sorta grew into it and doesn't feel as big.

Its starting to grow on me a little too, but im not sure ill get completely comfortable with it. I ordered a Dell Venue Pro, it has a 4.1" screen, so im hoping that will suite me. Ill keep you updated when i get it.

im really excited about the form factor, i hope the keyboard it top notch. I like how the screen is thin and the base is thick, it will make the weight balance even and easy to hold.

The platform is slightly new, but the prices of these phones is making everyone stay clear of it.
Some people are also waiting for the Venue Pro where it isn't out yet, so that could contribute to the lack of development; just give it some time.

Another thing is that WP7 seems to be very limited in what a standard user can do, as sideloading is disabled a normal person can't develop for it without paying a fee IIRC.

Coming from Windows Mobile, I can say this is a step down. It feels very limited (Windows Mobile software won't work with it) and the inability to copy and paste (will be fixed in January I hear).

But as it no longer retains the Windows Mobile name we can all assume it's a fresh start from Microsoft. Good for new users, bad for old users.

Android is nice but it doesn't feel as professional as Windows Mobile did, despite its obvious flaws.

I love this phone, and the portrait keyboard is excellent IMO.

It has an "on screen" virtual keyboard. That's what I was referring to.
