What the thread title says. I opened Doom and now I cannot quit the game nor turn off my player. Help!

Hold the power switch in th OFF position for at least 30 seconds. Maybe longer. But until it shuts down. Be sure to hold it continuously. That's always worked on every Sansa I've owned.

The menus work fine - you just can't read them.
I happen to remember (misspent youth...) that pressing power up select up select will get you back out again. Oddly, I can't remember anything they try to teach me at uni...

Hmm... Yes, that seems to work.
I remember prompts, saying things like "Are you sure? DOS is much worse...", and so assumed there must be a Yes / No cursor box. I guess I just tried putting the extra 'up' in, and it worked, so I assumed it was necessary. Thanks. |

They should definitely have fixed that quit message to "Rockbox is much worse".
