Sorry, not possible I believe. There is no way to extract individual pixel colors from an image.

Yeah it takes some effort to change a code from frame-by-frame drawing to a sort of dynamic visuals where only moving parts are updated. But as you have already noticed it's worth it (Or from another point of view, it's frustrating that we have to ).

As for the Jet, I really like how it moves now, so instead of using an image maybe you can simplify the Jet (less lines) and don't calculate the angles but use pre-calculated values from a table. Not sure if that helps but it might be worth a try..

Now it works a lot better try it once....
Still some bugs but no lag anymore
