Default S545 weak max volume?

I am planning to sell my samsung P3 to get a Sony because the touch experience for an mp3 player is not great.
First thing first:
-Is the volume still weak at max? (I had a A805 before)
-If yes is there solutions to break the limit?
-How is the sound quality compared to cowon and Samsung devices?

if you're in Europe then, yes, the volume is deliberately hobbled and there is no way round it, unlike other manufacturers.

I could buy from B&H NYC online but the delivery to my country is pretty high (70$ alone) and paypal doesn't support Lebanon yet

AFAIK, Asian versions of Sony players are not volume restricted - only those sold and exported to EU countries are impacted...

But wait for confirmation...

I will ask the Sony shop near my house to show me the box, shouldn't it be labeled as for EU in case?

Ok I ask the Sony dude, he said it's Asian model, he even red on the box that it's for US and Asian markets.
Though I didn't read it myself later, the box is in english with some 2 or 3 words in Japanese. It's also mentioned that if a Japanese consumer find this product it's not intended to him but for tourists lol!!
Anyone can confirm it's European or Asian/US model?
