YP U5-Can i somehow turn off the Start-/End-Melody?

Hi, i'm tim from germany.

i have a 4gb yp u5 player and i like it.

but i absolutely don't like the loud melody (always loud, no matter what volume is on display) when you turn the player ON or OFF. i upgraded the newest firmware 1.57, but the melody still can't be turned off in "settings". someone already asked SAMSUNG for help, but they just said "it can't be turned off". is there maybe a way to find the melody-file somehow and just delete it? (this would be a task for a computer-expert..)

please help me..

Yeah it's impossible to remove the annoying beep sound. Maybe the firmware could be hacked but obviously there are no computer-experts owning a U5 on this forum

@lebellium Ok. thx for your answer, though its not the kind of answer i hoped for... I already get used to first turn on the U5 and then turn headphones on and first turn headphones off and then turn off U5. and btw i now think even if i hear the start-end-melody its not so terrible at all...

Now i found a little trick: if you set volume on zero before turning the player OFF, there is no end-melody and no start-melody when you turn the player ON again. Not a BIG solution, i know... but maybe it will help some music-men and music-women out there. Enjoy ur Music!
