I have had my Fuze v2 for over a year and have really enjoyed using it. But now I am having a problem in putting files onto my Fuze. I have Linux Mint edition as the operating system on my computer and use MSC to copy files.
When I right click on a file on my computer and select copy then go to my Fuze device the paste is "greyed-out" and I cannot copy the file over. Any suggestions what I can do. I tried holding the on switch in the UP position for 30+ seconds and that didnt help. I also have a 2 gb Clip and can copy and paste with no problem. Have been using the Clip as that works for me. |

Okay, I solved the problem. Under SYSTEMS SETTINGS I went to USB MODE and did a hard format. That will erase all the files stored in the Fuze's internal memory. It did fix the problem and I can now copy files over to my little Fuze.

Are you creating your music files on Linux and/or using a music manager to transfer your files too?
