sansa fuze v1 16gb sd problem

ive just got a sansa fuze v1 , music loaded to the internal memeory or my spare 8gb sdcard (class 4 ) work fine ,but when i use a 16gb sd class 2 card (sandisk)all the music stutters!!ive used the 16gb card for .avi playback and it works fine
tried reformatting with sdformatter but that didnt help
ive got the latest firmware and ive tried 2 older versions
ive also tried the card in my sons v2 4gb fuse and it works fine!!

any ideas
