Stop (power button) not functioning properly

It works sometimes but usually, while playing, the power button does nothing unless I hold it, it powers off.

Of course, the OF has no stop function, only pause. With Rockbox, "stop" is an integral part of creating dynamic playlists. There is no other way, that I know of, to start a new dynamic playlist than stopping playback instead of pausing.
