Sansa Fuze vs Sansa View

Hi guys,

I'm in the mood to blow $100 and was thinking I would get either the sansa fuze+, sansa fuxe or Sansa View.

I have ruled out the sansa fuze+ due to many reasons, lets not get into it right now.

That leaves the decision down between the fuze and the view.

What's the major differences between the two? Are both rock box capable?

Basically I own a sansaclip+ which i love but I miss not having album art, which of the two would do better as a sansaclip+ with art?

The View is garbage that was abandoned by Sandisk almost three years ago, as far as firmware updates. It's a disgrace that they still sell them at all...buggy and troublesome, to say the least. Better off with a Fuze.

Yeh some more reading and I see that the fuze has the same sound as the clip+. Fuze it is!!
On ebay it's hard to find a new one, many are refurb (and therefore cheap), never bought refurb before... hmmm... should i risk it?

Sansa Fuze is kick-ass compared to View. Agreed...View is garbage, the clip+ is way better. I have a Rockboxed Fuze myself, and it is nearly perfect for music purposes only, sure, battery life could be better (doesn't compare to my ipod), but its usable. The Fuze is a perfect alternative to the clip+ if you are missing album art.

As far as I'm concerned you can still buy the Fuze on Amazon....but be aware, for some odd reason, the 8GB Silver one costs $135. There's probably a cheaper one available if you look hard enough though...

Yeh, the only new ones I can find in oz are $120AUD, whereas this refurb one on ebay (oz) is $77, quite a difference.

Bruce it would be a good idea to put something in the location field of the User CP, especially if you're going to ask for purchase suggestions. It will help you to avoid the USA based responses.

i got a refurb off ebay in nov..Looked brand new. I got it for 40 shipped but i forgot which power seller i got it from. No problems so far. And i highly suggest a clear case for it.

Funny, if you want album art, the Fuze+ is the better one by far. The Fuze album art display is really tiny. In any event, not trying to change your mind, the Fuze is/was great.

Yes i have it rockboxed and specifically set the now playing screen to be one that has the album art practically filling the entire screen. It's more than ample.
