Are the touchscreen improves when you use a needle instead of your finger?

EDIT:
Is using a needle improves the touchscreen? (like pencil, pen, stick, knife, saw, bullet)

I use a nokia plectrum stylus for the touchscreen - works great for me.

^ In all seriousness, I have noticed in HK that a lot of guys have very long, nearly girlie-esque nails. I am sure not specifically for this reason [probably a cultural thing], but I guess it might help them with their touchscreen devices.

Not my thing at all...

I didn't expect this but more comparison for COWON X7 with fingers versus needle (any kind of), and what works better in your opinion

For Lestatar: Some touchscreen can't be worked with nails (as the ipod touch), and other are more specfic for needle (like Nokia), so I don't sure how it is on the X7

The X7 has an old resistive touchscreen, it works with any stylus.

Newer capacitive touchscreens, such as on the J3/S9, or the iPhone, only work with materials that conduct electricity.
