Welcome to ABI.

If everything is installed, it ought to be under Microsoft XNA Game Studio 3.1 in the start menu.

That's the thing i can't find it anywhere it's weird. I just uninstalled it and i will install it again maybe it will appear this time. Does it matter if i have the visual 2008 and 2010 installed?

under Microsoft XNA Game Studio 3.1 you should see XNA Game Studio Device Center, click on that with your zune plugged in and the zune software closed, it will find your zune, then all you need to do is double click on the .ccg files and it will deploy to your zune

either they patched the flaw that allows intalling to zune in the latest builds of Visual Studio 2010 or windows phone sdk or its just bugged currently (I have had the same problem and tried pretty much anything I could short of a format and reinstall of the OS)

You should be able to still XNA games but anything to do with the "unofficial" development kit seems broke at the time being if recently installed VS2010 or Windows phone sdk

Lets just hope if this is blocked there is a firmware update with xna 4 support soon

I'm not sure what the post above me is saying, so let met offer what I know (it may be the same thing):

OpenZDK *will not* work if you have XNA 4.0 and/or Windows Phone Developer Tools installed. You must both uninstall XNA 4.0 *and* XNA 3.1 and all of their related components, then reinstall XNA 3.1 and components to use OpenZDK apps.

XNA .ccgame files will absolutely work no matter what you have installed as long as you have installed Visual Studio 2008 C#, XNA 3.1, and Zune Extensions. When you have done this, open up Visual Studio 2008. On the top menus, click Tools. Below "Connect to server..." is "Launch XNA Game Studio Device Center". Click that and select Zune, then select your device. Now double-click any .ccgame file on your computer to deploy.

If your Zune does not show up, check to make sure your Zune Software is not open or minimized. Zune Software cannot be open. Also make sure your drivers are correct for your Zune. Finally, if it still does not show up, plug your Zune into a different USB port or, if possible, use a different cable.

His problem is that he can't get the software to recognize his Zune. Could be wrong, though...

It is perfectly normal for your Zune to restart after playing a XNA game. It is hard wired into the programming, they don't want anything nasty getting onto the Zune through Homebrew games. Even the openZDK require a restart to access DRM'd music and offical apps.
