Looks like Cowon has released the D2s successor to Korea, we can only hope that it will come here too, its called the C2.

Well, I think the product packaging that doubles up as a cardboard drawer for pencils could be the stupidest thing ever

Though, the product itself looks appealing to me. Feature-wise it seems like a J3 competitor in a smaller (and IMO better looking) form factor. There is no AMOLED display and it tops at 16 GB but neither of those are show stoppers for me. This could be my next PMP...

320 x 240 is fine on a phone or DAP with a 2" screen - anything larger and it looks pixellated.

I think I would pass on this.

Absolutely nothing, obviously... But still, I think I will pass this miniature drawer and recycle the packaging material instead

It is true that the daily UI scheme (whatever that actually means) seems a bit factitious but I'm hoping every aspect of the UI is once again replaceable with custom components, just like in Cowon's other recent players (J3 etc.)

55 hours of audio, 10 hours of video. Everything else is mostly updates to the D2+.
