Has anyone encountered this issue? I have some songs which display as mp3/320kbs in Windows Explorer but display as mp1/96kbs on my Rockboxed Fuse (version one). I thought I could solve the discrepancy by updating to the newest RB build (3.8.1) but the problem persists. Most of the tracks are correct: it is just happening to the tracks of one particular album.
Thanks. |

Maybe some header info is broken in the files. Try fixing the header and/or rebuilding the MP3 stream with Foobar, or analyze them with MP3val.

Like dfkt said, its probably a bad header, although the current SVN build *might* work a little better then 3.8.1 if you want to try it.

I'll try the latest RB revision as saratoga suggested. I already downloaded and unzipped it. What next, just drag the folders into the player to replace the existing folders? Will themes and personalized settings remain the same?

Thanks, that fixed it. The current RB Fuze build (r29751) displays the bitrate info accurately. I am pleased, Rockbox is a wonderful product.
