WP7 Mango Multitasking Interface

An hour or two ago Long Zheng posted the following picture on Twitter:

It shows "[his] suggestion to the WP7 team for Mango app switching UI".

So anyway, I have taken his concept a tad further and hacked up a Silverlight application which shows how I think it should be.

I really like this design. The border makes it easy to see which application is currently being focused on and it feels more metro-like than just a solid color background.

Would've been better if it displayed the application names instead, only displaying 1 and 2 halves of applications is going to cause immense scrolling if you have several things open.
