Anyway to convert .spl files to .m3u files

Hey everyone, I really need your help. I bought a Samsung P3 media player about a year ago and I have enjoyed it very much. However, I recently bought a new stereo for my car. This stereo will allow me to connect my Samsung P3 media player to it via its auxuiliary connection and play all of my songs. However, it does not recognize my playlist, I presume because it is more compatibile with the Apple Ipod. I tried changing the file extension of these .spl files but it didn't work. I also tried to google various solutions but came up short. So was wondering if anyone out there knows how to perform this conversion or of utility that can perform such a conversion from .spl to .m3u.
