Default needs a disasembling guide (E345)

I read a thread about the issue I'm having (the media player not charging) and they said that the button is being pressed.

I need to take apart my NWZ-E345, and I can't figure out how.
Does anyone have a guide? some hints?
anything?n

Heya welcome to ABi...

I have an E345...not exactly sure what you are asking for. From what I can see, disassembly of the Sony E series is kinda tough.

Assume you have tried hard reset of the device [pinhole on the back of the E...]

Yeah...
Ok. The main issue is it's not charging. I really wanted to take it apart so I could be sure of the issue...

I plugged it in, for example, for ~24 hours, which should be plenty to charge it up, but still the screen is black.

Actually, that's not entirely true. By twisting and bending the mp3 player, I managed to get it to load a bit further and appear to charge for a bit. After which the screen would turn on (and then promptly off again).

So there's a loose connection inside someplace. Which leads me to the idea that I have to take it apart to fix it.

Now what?

^ How old is the player? Any chance for a return/exchange? 'Cause I suspect you may have a tough time via DIY...

Wish I could help more...sorry

Nope. Returning isn't really an option...
