Anyone care to do a review between the 2? My battery is dieing on my 120 GB 5 which I loved but Im weary if the droid would just do the same a year after purchase. Is there a replaceable battery and who is it compared to the standard 5 in general?

I've got the 32gb (thin) Archos 5 Android. As far as I can tell there is no easy way to replace the battery. I haven't had mine long enough to wear one out though, and don't have the non-Android 5 to compare to either.

Well, the Android Archos has a hell lot more potential obviously..

Hmmm... I am sure it would be possible if you were so inclined but the processor in the old linux 5 is slower so not sure if it would be worth the enormous amount of effort it would likely take.

A year and a half later I havent made the leap. Im still weary about the battery life. Is there anything on the market comparable and just as sexy as the Archos 5 droid with the option to replace the battery?
