NW-S756 on OSX - A few basic questions

So I'm living in Japan and recently decided that I know enough Japanese that I can in general find my way around a player in Japanese. So I got a S756 from the local electronics store. On the player I can read most things well enough to use the player, but I have a few questions specific to using it on OSX

1 - What is the best way to create playlists for the player using a Mac? Is it best to get some software to sync my itunes playlists? Or is there some better option?

2- The player comes with a fair amount of pre-installed music and language learning files. Does anyone know how to get rid of them while using the player on OSX?
