Help!!s543 sounding noisy and faint

I have been using an s543 for the past one and a half years and it had been working fine till the past two weeks ..
The trouble started something like this..the sound through the headphone would sound faint and noisy ,interspersed
with a clicking sound unless the headphone jack was rotated and made to stay in a particular region.

Now this comfort zone degenerated over the past two weeks and now has reached the point where it effectively stopped functioning..Please help I love this player ,and cant afford to buy a new one..

Also the sound through the speaker and FM (which requires a headphone) was working properly

Sounds like a bad headphone, buy new headphones :-)

Well i tested it with a soundmagic pl30 and sennheiser HD 201.
I then tried powering both with a Fiio E5 just to be sure and it still didnt work
So i dont think thats the problem..
