Samsung Galaxy Player 50 YP-G50 Help!

Hi,

My cousin decided to treat herself to a Samsung Galaxy Play 50 Yp-G50. She has had it for about a month. Today she said there was a problem with it and asked if i could fix it. I have tried everything i could think of and need someone’s help.

The problem

When turning on the device it shows the Samsung name as usual it then goes straight on to
Android system recovery
Samsung Recovery Utils - for BML-

reboot system now
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition

# Manual Mode~
E:multi_csc: error: open /efs/imei/mps_code.dat
(no such file or directory)

In the background is the little android green symbol and a triangle with an explanation mark.

I have used the volume up and down button to go through each option. With each option i have selected using the menu button then it goes to the android green symbol and a triangle with an explanation mark.

I have no idea how this has happened.

Does anyone know what is wrong and do they know how to fix it.
