Zune Software becoming the new WMP?
This is just a random thought I had. While the whole Zune brand is going software-wise,does that mean Microsoft might stop upgrading WMP in the future and Zune becoming the new proprietary Microsoft included media software? But that leaves what will that software sync to? Maybe it could become universal and sync with any MTP device in the future. I just had the thought of it being included in all the newer Windows 8 computers in the future instead of WMP.
Do you think this could happen? Thoughts?

That would be logical, but there hasn't been any sort of indication of it. I like it more than WMP, though...
