Something very strange has happened to my player...
I installed the solitaire app from this forum. I left for a couple of minutes or so, to go make some food for myself, and now this program has frozen my whole player. It won't turn off, it won't go to the home menu, it won't let me quit the game at all, even when I plug it in the computer it doesn't recognize the player. Help? |

Ah, the application doesn't correctly handle the shut-off signal from the player when it does an idle-shut down, so it freezes in an endless loop preventing any further input. Reset it using the reset button and it will work just like before, it will perform a disk scan on startup.
Most recent applications handle this correctly after we discovered how it was done, but some of the older ones still have this bug.

You can turn off idle shutdown in player settings.

Perfect, I'll turn off that setting to prevent this from happening again. Thank you.
