Default New NWZ-A860 and NWZ-S760 Revealed
Hello everyone, long time since I posted, but some new walkmans have appeared on the FCC website

new A series and S series, with the A series up to 64 GB, touchscreen with physical controls and NC. Both models will be on sale in the US and Canada.

If these new players are coming to the U.S. I will be buying one almost as soon as they become available. I've been holding out for a new high-end Sony player here in the States for a LONG time.

I'd probably be nabbing a 16GB S series as I don't care about touchscreen controls or noise cancellation.

Uh, what??? This is an upgrade to the A847 released in the EU & Japan, and 64gb is a darn fine capacity for some of us. As for price, as a Sony fan I already expect it to come out of the gate overpriced. You'd expect that since you seem to have followed Sony's international releases as well,...

You know, flash has some advantages over HDD, which would make them superior if they could get up to that amount of space. The price may be high, but it's for a lot of memory in a small form factor that uses less power than a HDD.

i was told in my local sony shop of a new walkman coming this summer then i saw some ones advertised on play.com coming 31st july anyone else heard of this i should say there was a picture so it does exist

I'm assuming that there probably isn't any official release date since there aren't even official US prices yet, but is there a reasonable ETA? Probably going to pick up a 32gb or 64gb depending on prices.

Yay the X series is back.... no wait it's the A series :O. good to see that Sony went back to the almost close X series model with OLED screen, even it don't have wifi that good because the X series sucks when it comes to wifi *hint: YouTube app & Internet Browser*

The A and S prices are too high, IMO.
