Default Did I damage the battery of my S545?

I got my Walkman two weeks ago and have filled it with music since. At the rate I buy/rip CDs, I would plug it into the USB at least two times a day, every day, to add new/remove old content. Because of that, I have never let the battery fully drain even once, usually keeping it at ~80%. I have never used it for video.

Today, I took it to class and used the voice recording feature during 4 hours and the battery is already at 50%. I had charged it the night before I took it to campus. Did I damage the overall battery life of my DAP? Any way I can fix it? Looking back, the first quarter of the battery always DID drain rather fast with just 256 kbps music.

I don't think it is anything to worry about.

The (assumed) drop in battery life is nothing to worry about or the player itself has an erratic battery meter (say, the first half lasts 8 hours, the other lasts 34)?

I just think that the voice recording is a much higher power drain than anything else you would do with the player, outside of watching a video.

I never timed my S545's battery life when I had it, but it never ran out on me and seemed to run for a very long time.
