Can the battery be replaced in the 43? I know it will take some work to replacw it, if it is possible. I haven't seen any 43 disassembly videos on YouTube.
Reportedly, 802.11C wasn't fully functional on the 43. Has that problem been resolved? Thanks |

I assume you mean 802.11 n and sort of if you have a router that will handle N on a 2.4Ghz band, the Archos devices do not have a 5Ghz radio.
The battery is said to be glued to the back of the screen, as such it may not be replaceable. I have not tried this, but it appears there are four screws in the corners of the back side, then just the normal plastic clips helping to hold the side together. If you search the FCC for sov8300 you should find the test report and the internal pictures, they might help give you a clue about deciding if the battery can be replaced or not. |

This battery might work: http://www.megacapacity.com/28845.html
It appears to be a Cameron Sino battery (not great). No idea how easy or hard it is to install. |
