I am looking for a Sony NWZ (Pro : Noise Cancelling / Cons-- : Weak battery) for which I am wondering if it is possible to listen the music while the player is charging or power supplied through USB?

it only works when you connect your usb-cable with an usb adapter to AC. It doesn't work when the player is connected to you pc through usb.

Is it true even if you select "Eject USB disk" (on Windows) ? This is a trick working for my iPod Classic.

Does not work in MPT mode for sure, maybe in MSC mode...
