Creating playlists, managing files w/o centrale?

For some reason lately I can't get centrale to see the files on my x-fi2. Is there another program that people use to manage the files and create playlists, etc.

I have tried reinstalling centrale with no luck.

You should be able to manage the files directly with just about any media player, or directly with Explorer. (Your X-Fi2 should show up as a drive in the Computer view.)

Playlists are trickier... The same question has come up here before, but personally I haven't seen a satisfactory answer. There is a "hacky" way to do it if you are happy editing text files and so on, but I don't know of a "nice" way.

no problem moving files to the player. I wanted to move to a playlist and centrale wouldn't read the player. Tried with windows medial player but couldn't figure it out. Finally when I plugged player into computer windows told me drive had bad files and gave the option to fix, I did do and now player shows up in centrale.
