Default Sony A865 stock earphones

I recently bought a Sony A865 DAP from my local electrical store for £40. The reason I got it so cheap is because it was secondhand and through UK law it is against the law to sell the stock earphones with it because of health and hygiene reasons. I was wondering if anyone knew the model number of the stock earphones that come with the A864? And are they available to buy separately?

Your best shot at identifying them is to contact sony support and hope you get a knowledgeable rep to provide you the info, maybe they sell the buds direct. But I'm sure you can do much better than stock with after market IEMs, buds or headphones.

Yes I agree that they are EX300's but they are discontinued I believe. I have a pair and the sound awesome, by the way. You still might be able to find them on Amazon for Ebay

Thanks for the replies. I managed to buy a pair of Sony MDR-EX310LP phones from my local Staples store for £50. Seeing that they discontinues the EX300 I just made the leap and bought the EX310. The phones are very good.
