Further to my Editorial/Musings yesterday - proof positive that MS got their shite together and organised for carriers to see final Mango release versions and approve PRIOR to the official release date!
Now Vodafone Australia lets the cat out of the bag! Ouch! Stealing the thunder of the Day 2 Build MS Keynote I'm sure ![]() Bring it on MS --> Mango for the masses in 17 hours and counting (we hope!) Sheeds

Optus also now confirmed in Australia as having passed Mango test. Telstra have advised that they will have it out in...."Spring". Gives them a big bloody landing pad. lol

I just read that too. Some people were going completely mental until they realized Spring = autumn in the northern hemisphere. :P

I was afraid of MS taking this approach, but what option did they have? After the last fiasco (updates being staggered an fragmented, almost as bad as Android), they now have to wait until most carriers approve an update before they rollout. This means the update is coming out 2-3 months later than it could have, but hey, at least most phones get it around the same time.
There is no perfect rollout method. I'm anxious to see how well this one goes.

I for one, have no interest at all in WIndows7, which I think is too constrained. Mango might sweeten it up, but I still think either Android or IOS is the way to go.
