Hi, Im in a bit of a pickle because the case that I wanted to get for my 4.0 just got sold out on Amazon, and I cant find it anywhere else.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...sc_act_title_1 Its the Rearth Ringke Case [Black]. I see great reviews for it because its flexible rubber but it isnt sticky rubber, and thats exactly the kind of case I want. I want a nice tight rubbery soft case that isnt sticky. Can anyone recommend a case like the Rearth Ringke Case? UPDATE: Can anyone tell me about the NILLKIN Soft Case and how it feels and such? http://www.ebay.com/itm/NILLKIN-Soft...ht_4001wt_1139 Thanks.

Question: micro-sd & micro-sdhc are the same?

NO, they are not the same. Micro sd only went to 2gb, then they started with the micro sdhc. Sdhc = higher capacity and started at 4gb - 64gb.
The micro sd 2gb card should work with most devices, but the SDHC may not work for older devices, like older cellphones. Must check device info to see if it is compatible with a SDHC card. |

so, it means that for SMP micro-sdhc works?

YES! It's the only way you can get up to 64gb memory card.

Sorry, microSDHC maximum capacity is 32GB.
You need microSDXC to go above 32GB (64GB - ). I do not think you can use a microSDXC card in the Galaxy Player, but I do not know for sure. Official specs say not. |

Thanks for that markr041. As always Google is your friend:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital Also, found a great carry case for micro cards. Aluminum, holds 12 micro cards, 1 mini, and 1 reg. adapter. Did find another that held 16 micro cards, but you always need an adapter to use with most pc's. They do sell readers that hold micro cards as well, but then that is 2 items to keep track of instead of 1. http://www.ebay.com/itm/390387768632...84.m1423.l2649 |

That 1st one looks interesting. I bought a 2X "USA" pair from Ebay (none of these) and didn't like them, so back to bare. Be careful to get the one with or without the hole for the home button (US/EU) that fits your Player, you never know if there's no picture (not that their picture is always correct).

Found a decent slipcase on ebay for the new Samsung NOTE, which is said to also fit the SGP5.

The more I read this thread the more it gets me thinking. I'm currently using a repurposed portable hard drive pouch to store my SGP 4.0 when not in use. While I'll probably get a silicone skin (man is that plastic back ever slippery), I've never really considered a screen protector. Are they really necessary for this modern variety of [non-gorilla glass type] capacitive touch screen?
Back in the Palm era, I remember using screen protectors because the those resistive screens were under constant assault from overzealous use of pointy styli. Are these screen protectors primarily for scratch resistance or do they add other properties as well, like smudge reduction? |

They probably aren't necessary for most people. I tried scratching the corner of the screen with a key, not excessively hard but not light either, and it didn't leave a mark. I got one anyway because between pens, change, keys, and a pen knife all fighting for pocket space with it, I didn't want that test repeated daily on the bare screen. |
