I rather like the wet application over the dry. Once I place the protector on the screen, I can adjust it a little just by sliding it around the screen, then squeege the excess liquid out and gently blot it dry with the cloth that it comes with. Every time I buy a smartphone or tablet, I immediately install a screen protector to protect it from smears and scratches. I just got a Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 from BestBuy. The only had one brand of screen protector, Zagg InvisibleSHIELD. I bought it and installed it, but I really didn't like it. Even after the screen had dried overnight and I spent a couple of days breaking it in, it still had a "orange peal" fell to it. Sometimes my finger would momentarily pause or stick to the screen while swiping back and forth. So I dumped it and started looking for a replacement.

Now, i'm confused.

I tried the 2 pack "USA" Ebay ones, they go on easily, but I found they get oily much quicker than bare, and also showed scratches/wear after a month so I removed it. Many are "dry" these days, much easier to install, basically "static cling" holds them on (and works well)... just watch out for dust!

I used them and they are fine.Dry application I put on and took off a few times until i got it right.Now its perfect

sorry, i'm a bit lost here. u re-applied the protector? i thought it can't be re-applied once its ON the device?

Most of the dry ones, you can wash with soap and water, dry out, and reapply.

Technically you can wet apply any adhesive protector if you want. Wet application allows you to get the screen in the exact location or where you want it to be. Instead of pealing up and moving around and possibly getting your fingerprints on the adhesive side. Back in the day I would find a picture in a mag or xerox and attach it to Contact paper (Clear). Then I would soak the sheet in water and cut to size I wanted. After soaking long enough I would peel off all the paper, only leaving the image then apply wet to i.e. Guitar. and let dry. After twenty years these self made decals are still there on my Guitars.

I have gotten no reply to my email to pdair asking them to describe their screen protector and how it is applied. I also asked to make sure the cut outs were on the protector for the speaker and the camera. When a company does not reply it tells me that they are not much interested in their customers or potential customers. If I ever do get a response from them about the pdair screen protector I will pass along what they say.

Well I just didnt like the way it lined up so i used a little scotch tape to pull it off,lined it up again and pressed it down.It was a shot in the dark but it stayed and has been on now for about a month with no problems.

I'm kinda excited although it is a little pricier than I wanted...go figure right! Not too many options, so it seems.

What is more interesting here than the case and the dock is that SAMSUNG is suddenly supporting the SGP 5 with accessories. Until now there has been nothing directly from Samsung (if these really are from Samsung as BH claims - there is nothing in Samsung's website about these and if you search these only BH comes up in the search with them.)
