abi review here. I like mine because of gapless, jeteffects 3.0 sound enhancements and build quality. But the UI is not intuitive, hard to remember features that you don't often use and I don’t like the fact there’s no expansion slot. Aside from those two issues it’s a great low cost way to test Cowon sound …

Agree with all this, and would only add that the touchpad controls are a pain when you are on-the-go.....but not bad when just sitting around.

Marvin’s point on the touch controls have been posted by others that agree with him as well. I can’t say that I love them but since I used the i7 (still do) and then later the i9 I’ve not had any problems with them, sure it’s not the easiest to use while riding a bike but I’ve done it. IMO the i7’s touch control is easier for me to do with one hand but the size of the i9 makes this much harder. Also the screen on the i7 is easier to read out in the sun for me. Regardless I don't have a problem with either while just walking around.

I don't see a reason to buy Cowon anymore. Their hardware is good the software is terrible, and Android phones are way cheaper and have better designs usually. No jeteffects, but thats the only downside I can see.

That's nothing new, the sound enhancements are pretty much the #1 reason to buy Cowon anyway (along with format support). Their user interfaces have always sucked.
