with latest firmware should i get one? i want a audio player with good sound quality

The player has excellent sound quality. The only problem I have had with the sound, was with the second to last firmware, making the audio seem softer(although still clear and bassy), whereas the previous firmwares seemed to give the XFI-2 very loud and eardrum pounding signal. It may have been distorted a bit due to the power, but it was LOUD! That may have been why Creative cleaned it up a bit, to get rid of the distortion. I prefer having that extra power though, becasue not all music gets distorted when cranked at full volume.
