Looking to pick one of these up, but I wanted to pair it to my Pantech Link for 3G internet.
Does PDAnet work or some other app? Last edited by djfourmoney; 10-30-2011 at 08:41 PM. |

Considering your thread title doesn't indicate what you're looking for I wouldn't be surprised. "Galaxy 5.0 Version Questions" might mean anything.
You can use the Advanced feature in the Edit menu to change the title to something more descriptive.

I agree you should be a bit more specific when naming the threads.

Well when I started the thread (1) I was on my Pantech Link, hard to type on with one hand (I was donating Plasma). (2) I maybe should have been more specific for that I am sorry.
This is the only thing preventing me from putting it on my Black Friday/Christmas shopping list. I use public transportation and where I tend to go does not have WiFi. I have a laptop and desktop turned HTPC, I would hardly use the device much at home. I tried pairing my phone to Acer Iconia 7" at a local Fry's, it works but there's no internet connection. I assume this would happen with the Galaxy Player as well without some sort of DUN/tether software This is sort of puzzling since Archos includes this with Archos 32, Archos 43 and 48. However the Archos 43 is the most affordable of those at least 4" from a major manufacturer, but since I can't really play with it before purchase like I can the Galaxy, I've put that towards the bottom of the list. |
