A728 and Linear PCM ??

hello ABI members

I have a question

Im still using my trusty and good A728



of course this players do not support FLAC...and almost my entire library is FLAC...so I always convert the music to MP3 320kbps

but...I just dont like compressed formats....

so...I "discover" that the walkman support "Linear PCM"...I converted my 16 bits 44.1 FLAC music to that format in Winamp....PCM 16 bits 44.1 stereo

it output a .wav file, "Microsoft Wave sound format"...the file size is even bigger than the FLAC one

so my question is......that Linear PCM format (wav) is losless ?? it will give me the same quality as my FLAC´s ???
