Hello All,
I can only load about a 1000tracks onton my Zen. I deleted everything from the player and it says free space 8813MB. 'Total Space: 28565MB' 'Free Sapce: 8813MB' Not sure if this is related to a year or so ago when the player crashed and everything got wiped! Anyone know how I can get my full memory back??! 8Gb is not enough!! Or is it time to saygoodbye to my trusty companion?! ![]() Thanks |

have you tried booting into recovery mode?
the link will give you some instructions in how to do it and what to do once you're in recovery mode. I recommend: 1. Disk Cleanup or if that fails: 2. Reformat Disk http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...ad.php?t=14459 mind you, even if the disk refuses to be formatted or cleaned, you can always replace it with a new hard drive, replace it with compact flash, or go by the route of using an SSD as your storage media, there are links here in the forums.

Thanks Mikkun, I reformatted and then thought it would be a good idea to upgrade the firware, but my computer didn't recognise my player and I got stuck in Recovery mode! I've tried using an older version of Windows (XP) and WMP 10, but no dice! One step forward, two steps back!
I think it might be time to upgrade!? |

don't give up on your player, try to upgrade your firmware on another PC. or choose reload firmware on recovery mode...
